The college has a full-fledged library with a good collection of books to cater the needs of students and staff of the college. Adequate number of periodicals and technical journals are also available in the library. A separate reference section is arranged for the students. The Library is open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on all working days.
Career Guidance and Placement cell is a placement cell that is effectively functioning in this college. Leading multinational companies visit the college every year for recruitments. This cell undertakes various training and personality development programs in a regular fashion. The placement cell publishes the employment opportunities and makes available information about higher education.
The Central Computing Facility (CCF) of the college has been set up in the Administrative block and it will provide network access to students and staff. CCF includes a server room, two browsing areas with 50 desktops, UPS room and printers. The dept. of Computer Science & Engineering of our college manages the functioning of CCF.
The College has two NSS units, one aided unit and other self-financing unit. The NSS unit of our college, with 200 volunteers, plays an active role in shaping our student humane and responsible citizens. The aim of the NSS is to provide personality development and hands-on experience to young students in delivering community service.
The 3K Naval NCC Wing of College Of Engineering, Perumon aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose.
The Alumni Association of College of Engineering Perumon has been functioning since 2004 at the college campus. The main aim of the Association is to maintain the link between college and Alumni and share their details of employment and achievements. The Alumni are helping the final year students in their project work and also about the employment opportunities in their respective organisations in India and abroad.
The students belonging to SC/ST/OEC and SEBC category are eligible for fee concession/stipend/lump sum grant etc. as per the norms stipulated by the Govt. of Kerala.
At present six buses, operated by the college PTA for the convenience of students and staff. The service of college buses is controlled by a committee which includes student members also. Students and staff who are using college buses should remit the bus fee every semester, calculated based on the working days of that semester.
The Industry Institute Interaction Cell is functioning effectively at College of Engineering Perumon through which considerable progress has been made and the academic departments have been carrying out various activities envisaged under the IIIC independently. Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) is functioning in the college with the intention of nurturing entrepreneurship skills of the students under IIIC.
Kerala Blockchain Academy Innovation Club (KBAIC) is a novel initiative by Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA) to help students from academic institutions across the country to explore deep into the potential of blockchain technology. KBAIC provides an opportunity to work closely with experts and also experiment with the latest advancements in this domain.
Computer Society of India (CSI), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE), Society of Automotive Engineers India (SAEINDIA), National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) local chapter are the various professional bodies established in College of Engineering Perumon.
