Building Area

The College has a total of 7708 Sq.m. of Academic / Institutional / Administrative areas. We have 20 Classrooms with an area of 70 Sq.m. each, 4 tutorial rooms with an area of 70 Sq.m each, 4 Seminar halls with an area of 70 Sq.m each, one Drawing Hall with an area 280 Sq.m area, Computer Centre with an area of 282 Sq.m spread over two floors, General Library with an area of 210 sq.m spread over two floors, 3 separate Workshop building with an area of 900 Sq.m, 16 Laboratory rooms with an area of 1120 Sq.m. Residential Facilities
Residential facilities for staff and students are envisaged in the planning of the Campus. However, at present students are making uses of the ample facilities provided by many private agencies obtaining approval from the Institution.

Training and Placement Cell
The Training and Placement Cell was formed in the year 2001and it serves as a platform for students to face challenges in the rapidly developing technological environment. With regular placement training, personality development workshops and seminars, it aims at providing career guidance for final and pre-final year students and ensuring that they get placed at well established reputed firms.

Computer Centre
The centre is equipped with Pentium Xeon Processor based Server, Pentium III Processor based HP Netserver and 110 Celeron / P4 based PC's, spread over 3 different Computer Labs, all interconnected in the College LAN. Broad band internet facility is provided by the Computer Centre.

General Library
The college is having a full-fledged library. It has a good collection of books to cater the needs of students and staff of the college. Adequate number of periodicals and technical journals are also available in the library. A separate reference section is arranged for the students. Library system is fully computerized. It has a wide collection of CDs and DVDs also. A subscription of E-journals under the AICTE sponsored scheme, which facilitates access to about 250 international journals, is under processing. Broadband Internet facility is also available in the Library.There is sufficient number of books, periodicals, CD/DVD, Floppy etc. for the Library. Books are  issued to students regularly and the Library is open between 8 a.m. and  5 p.m on all working days.

Seminar Hall
The seminar hall in the college is equipped with the latest Audio and Visual equipments for the conduct of Presentations, Seminars and personality development workshops.

Extra - Curricular Activities
Playgrounds for Volley Ball, Badminton, Cricket etc. have been prepared and sufficient play materials are available. The students are also extended opportunity for participating in the various Art Festivals.

Stipend, Scholarship and Fee concession
The students belonging to SC/ST/OEC and SEBC category are entitled to free concession/stipend/lump sum grant etc as available in Govt. Institutions.

College Bus

Two college buses are running for the convenience of students and staff of the college. The financial backup for college buses is giving by the PTA. The first bus is starting from Madan Nada (Kollam). It will reach the college via Railway station, Chinnakkada, High school Junction, Kadavoor and Achalummoodu. Second bus is starting from Moonnamkutty. It will reach the college via Karicode, Chandanathoppe, Kundara, Kushiyam and Overbridge. The operations of college buses are controlled by a committee including student members.  Students and staff who are using college buses should remit an amount every semester, calculated based on the working days of that semester. A bus pass will be issued based on the remittance of the bus fee for both students & staff and which should be kept with them while traveling by college bus. The students and staff who are using the college bus without bus pass will be punished. The decisions of The Principal will be final in this matter.

Welfare Co-Operative Society:

Welfare Co-Operative Society is registered as per the Co-op Act, is functioning in the college with an objective to have a common forum for various welfare activities of the whole staff and students of the college. A store is functioning in full swing under the society, which cater the needs of the staff and the students in respect of all academic stationeries. A reprographic center is also functioning well under this society, attached to the store is as follows.
